What the client wanted:

A solution to the ‘swamp’ created by pool deck run-off on turf around the pool.

What we did:

BB installed a drain that directs water to three rain gardens terraced into the slope to absorb chlorinated water from the pool.

What we love:

Plantings of deer resistant native perennials thrive in the gardens with little maintenance, making a beautiful, and environmentally responsible border for the pool.
