What the client wanted:
The client sought to address the lack of groundcover at the driveway entrance, and to create a defined path through the meadow to their swinging bench.
What we did:
BB excavated a significant pathway through the meadow to mitigate the weed seed bank and allow new perennials and shrubs, as well as a specimen sourwood tree, to define the path. The swinging bench patio was cleared and reset with flagstone.
What we love:
This former horse farm is being restored with native plantings that appeal to the local wildlife. The owners are avid hikers who enjoy rediscovering their property as it changes through the seasons. It is a joy to work with such wonderful stewards of the land.
