It’s pouring overhead and not a drop of water is visible on the permeable path we installed in our back garden a couple of years ago.
The path is made of 3/8″ Delaware River Rock that is ‘locked’ together with a product called Gravel-Lok. Gravel-Lok is a polymer that glues rock together while preserving the gaps between stones. Water runs freely through these gaps. Since we removed the turf in front of our rain garden and replaced the turf with this permeable path, we’ve noticed a decrease in the amount of storm water in our rain garden. The path and the rain garden keep a lot of storm water from running off our property.
Looks good. Does good.
